About the job
AccorHotel is hiring a hot kitchen chef specialising in traditional Hijazi and Oriental dishes for Novotel Thakher Makkah. The role involves preparing and presenting hot dishes to strict food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting buffets and banquets. Shifts, weekends and public holidays are expected, and experience in a hotel kitchen is needed.
You need
- Proven experience as an Oriental, Hijazi or Hot Kitchen Chef or similar position
- Proven experience as an Oriental, Hijazi or hot kitchen chef
- Strong knowledge of Hijazi, Saudi and Oriental cuisine
- Understanding of HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards
- Experience with buffets, banquets or high-volume kitchens preferred
- Culinary qualification preferred; flexibility for shifts and weekends
