About the job
This is an audio-visual technician role at Grand Mercure Business Bay in Dubai, Accor's hotel. The job covers setting up, operating and repairing sound, lighting, projection and video conferencing equipment for meetings, weddings and events, often on rotating shifts. Candidates need at least 2 years of AV experience in a hotel or high-end events setting and strong English.
You need
- Minimum 2 years of professional audio-visual experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end event environment
- Minimum 2 years AV operations experience in luxury hotel or high-end event environment
- Experience with PA systems, mixers, projectors, LED screens and microphones
- Knowledge of signal flow, cabling and equipment safety
- Proficient spoken and written English; Arabic is an asset
- Willing to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays
